Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as "Terms") apply to all users (hereinafter referred to as "Users") of various services (hereinafter referred to as "Services") provided by Maison Micha – French Conversation (hereinafter referred to as "the School"), including its website, software, and related offerings, as outlined in Article 1.
Article 1 (Users)
The term “User” shall refer to any individual who has agreed to these Terms and completed the user registration procedure set forth in the following Article.
Article 2 (User Registration Procedure)

User registration is completed when an applicant submits a registration request in the prescribed manner and the School approves it.

During the review process, the School may refuse to approve a registration request if it determines that the applicant falls under any of the following, and the School shall have no obligation to disclose the reasons for such refusal:

The applicant has previously violated these Terms.

The School otherwise determines that the applicant is unsuitable as a User.
Article 3 (Fees and Payment Methods)

Users who wish to take lessons at the School must purchase a lesson ticket (hereinafter referred to as the “Ticket”) through this website. New users may purchase a trial lesson ticket (one session: 2,200 JPY).

The Ticket may only be used for lessons provided by the School.

Tickets are non-refundable in the case of cancellations or changes made for the User’s own reasons.

Each Ticket shall be valid for the period specified for that Ticket. Tickets will automatically expire if the School discontinues its operations.
Article 4 (User ID and Password Management)

Users shall be responsible for managing their own User ID and password for the Service. The School shall not be liable for any damages incurred by the User as a result of their User ID or password being used by a third party. In the event that a User forgets or loses their User ID or password, or if it is stolen, the User must promptly notify the School and follow the School’s instructions.

Under no circumstances may a User transfer or lend their User ID or password to any third party.

If a login is made using the correct combination of a User ID and password, the School shall deem such use to have been made by the User who has registered that User ID.
Article 5 (Prohibited Acts)
The school prohibits users from engaging in any of the following acts when using this service.

Actions that violate laws, regulations, these Terms, or public order and morals

Any activity related to criminal activity

Any act that destroys or interferes with the functioning of our servers or networks, or any other act that may interfere with the operation of our services.

Sending or posting harmful computer programs such as viruses

Collecting or storing personal information about other users

Impersonating another user to use the Service

Any act of directly or indirectly providing benefits to anti-social forces in relation to the services of this school.

Any other actions that the school deems inappropriate
Article 6 (Restrictions on Use and Cancellation of Registration)

The school may, without prior notice, restrict the user's access to all or part of this service, or cancel their registration as a user, if the user falls under any of the following items:
(a) If the user violates any provision of these Terms and Conditions
(b) If it is discovered that any of the registration details contain false information
(c) If the school otherwise determines that the user is unsuitable
2. The School shall bear no liability whatsoever for any damages incurred by the user as a result of actions taken by the School pursuant to this clause.
Article 7 (Disclaimer)

The responsibility of the school towards users in relation to this service shall be exempted in cases not arising from the intentional or grossly negligent conduct of this classroom.

Should the school be liable for any reason whatsoever, its liability for damages shall be limited to the extent of damages that could reasonably be expected to occur, and in the case of paid services, shall be limited to the amount paid (or, for ongoing services, the equivalent of one month's fee).

The school shall bear no responsibility whatsoever for any damages, disputes, or other issues arising between users, other users, or third parties in connection with this service.
Article 8 (Notification or Communication)

Notifications or communications between the User and the school shall be made via email or other means deemed appropriate by the school, including via this Service.

Notifications or communications made by the methods stipulated in the preceding paragraph shall take effect from the time of posting on this Service or sending of the email. This School shall bear no responsibility whatsoever if the User is unable to view the posting or receive the email due to their own settings.
Article 9 (Changes to Service Content, etc.)
The school reserves the right to alter the content of this service or discontinue its provision without prior notice to users, and shall bear no liability whatsoever for any damages incurred by users as a result.
Article 10 (Suspension of Service Provision, etc.)
1. The school may suspend or interrupt the provision of all or part of this service after giving prior notice to users if it determines that any of the following grounds apply:
(a) When performing maintenance, inspection, or updates on the computer systems related to this service.
(b) When the provision of this service becomes difficult due to force majeure such as fire, power failure, or natural disaster
(c) When computers or communication lines cease operation due to an accident.
(d) When this school otherwise determines that the provision of this service is difficult
Article 11 (Amendment of Terms of Use)
The school reserves the right to add to, amend or delete these Terms and Conditions by notifying users, without requiring their consent, where deemed necessary.
Article 12 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

The governing law of these Terms and Conditions shall be Japanese law.

Any disputes regarding these Terms and Conditions and the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court with jurisdiction over the location of our school's offices.
